"We have been meaning to write for some time now, but with the holidays, it was a bit chaotic and time got away from us. We wanted to thank you for taking the time, on a Sunday, to show us Green Island Getaways. We went to PEI with three days to secure a venue, and we heard about your space by chance and thankfully were able to see it the afternoon before we left. When we saw the space, the lodge, the kitchen and the house, we fell in love and we knew it was perfect for us. You both made us feel so comfortable and we appreciate your openness, honesty and your tendency to be so accommodating.
It was great to feel like we could make a decision so quickly without hesitation, and that was thanks to you both and they way you do business. We are so excited to have our wedding in the Lodge; it is perfect for us.
Everyone we have shown it to loves it!
One or both of us hope to be home within the next month or so to get more wedding tasks done. We'd love to stop by and see the space again! In order to plan other aspects of the wedding, we need to take some measurements, check out the bar, and look at the commercial kitchen again. Before we come, we will give you plenty of notice and hopefully we can find a time that works to have another look. We can also talk about certain rules and regulations, such as the use of candles in accordance with fire regulations and the liquor license.
